ביום חמישי ה-22.10.20 בשעה 17:45 נקיים את מרוץ החברים ה-9 למען חולי ה-ALS, מייסודו של שי ראשוני ז”ל.
אבל השנה, הכל נראה אחרת…
חשבנו וחשבנו ויצרנו את המרוץ ההיברידי המדהים שלנו (שילוב של דיגיטל ושטח) שיאפשר לכל מי שרוצה להשתתף ולהיות חלק מקהילת ה-ALS.
איך זה יעבוד?
כל אחד יכול לרוץ, ללכת , לרקוד, לקפוץ או איך שירצה, איפה שירצה ועם מי שירצה.
את האירוע כולו נשדר הפעם בשידור חי מאולפן טלוויזיה מיוחד. האירוע יכלול ראיונות, הופעות, שעשועונים אינטראקטיביים ועוד ועוד.
תסמכו עלינו ותנו לנו להפתיע אתכם! אלפי משתתפים ירוצו בשידור חי ומנקודות שידור בשטח נסקר את הקבוצות והמשתתפים.

- עזרתם גם לממן מלגת מחקר לפוסט דוקטורנט במעבדה יוקרתית שחוקרת ALS בארה”ב.
- אפשרתם לחולי ה- ALS לזכות להרבה יותר תמיכה – אנו מפעילים קבוצות תמיכה פרונטאליות ומקוונות לחולי ALS ולבני משפחותיהם, יש לנו תכנית תמיכה והדרכה להורים על איך מדברים עם הילדים על המחלה, מפגשי משפחות, עזרה במיצוי זכויות, צוות של עו”סים שמלווה את המשפחות מיום האבחון ועוד ועוד.

על מחלת ה-ALS ופעילות העמותה:
ALS היא מחלה ניוונית סופנית וחשוכת מרפא.
עמותת ישראלס הוקמה לפני 15 שנים. לפני שהעמותה הוקמה משפחות נאלצו להתמודד לבדן עם המחלה ללא גישה למידע אמין ומקצועי שיכוון אותן, חולים נשארו ללא אפשרות לתקשר כי לא היה מי שינגיש להם את הטכנולוגיה ורבים מהם היו מרותקים לביתם ללא אפשרות לצאת.
היום, עם צוות מסור של 4 עובדים סוציאליים שמלווה את החולים ובני משפחותיהם מיום האבחון המצב שונה לחלוטין.
פיתחנו מגוון תוכניות ייעודיות עבור חולי ה-ALS ובני משפחותיהם: שירות הנגשת תקשורת, שירות הסעות, תכנית מאובחנים חדשים, תכנית על הנשמה, תכנית הדרכת הורים, מיצוי זכויות ועוד.
כפי שכתבה לנו בת של חולה:
אני רוצה להודות לכם ולברך אתכם על הפעילות שאתם עושים מכל הלב. כשגילינו שיש לאמא את הניוון חרב עלינו עולמנו ובזכותכם הצלחנו קצת להתרומם וממש נתתם לנו כוחות להמשיך, לא לוותר ואת הרצון לחקור וללמוד עוד דברים כדי שיקלו על אמא ועלינו. ובעיקר תודה על כך שלא השארתם אותנו לבד.
לפני שהעמותה הוקמה לא היו בארץ חוקרי ALS באקדמיה הישראלית. היום תחום ה-ALS בארץ פורה ועשיר בזכות פעילות העמותה.
העמותה מקדמת את חקר המחלה בישראל באמצעות מתן מענקי מחקר לחוקרים באקדמיה, מתן מלגות לפוסט דוקטורנטים, עריכת כנסים ועבודה בשיתוף פעולה הדוק עם חברות המפתחות תרופה למחלה.

On Thursday, 22.10.2020 at 5:45 PM, we will hold the 9th Friends4ALS Run for ALS Patients, founded by the late Shay Rishoni.
But this year, everything will look a little different…
How will this work?
The whole event will be broadcast live from a special television studio. The event will include interviews, performances, interactive games, and much more.
Trust us and let us take you by surprise! Thousands of participants will run live on air and we will cover the groups and participants from different outdoor locations.

Last year we raised a record NIS 550,000
This year our goal is NIS 600,000 – help us reach that goal!
Thanks to you we have financed the full sequencing of DNA samples from 70 patients.
With your help we have transported 100 patients in our unique vehicle.
We made 200 assistive technology visits this year – all thanks to you.
You have also helped pay for a research scholarship for a postdoctoral student at a prestigious ALS lab in the United States.
You have allowed ALS patients to get a lot more support – we operate support groups for ALS patients and their families, both in person and online, we have a support and guidance program for parents on how to talk to children about the disease, family meetings, help with claiming social benefits, a team of social workers assisting families from the day of their diagnosis, and more.
With your help, this year we will increase the scope of donations and continue to act to the benefit of ALS patients and their families

About ALS and Association Activities:
The IsrALS Association was founded 15 years ago. Before the association was founded, families have had to deal with the disease on their own, without access to reliable information to guide them. Patients were left without the opportunity to communicate, because there was no one to make the technology available to them, and many were confined to their homes with no option of going outside.
Today, with a dedicated team of 4 social workers assisting patients and their families from the day of the diagnosis, things are completely different.
We have developed a variety of designated programs for ALS patients and their families: assistive technology services, transportation services, a program for newly-diagnosed patients, a program on ventilation, a parent guidance program, benefit claims, and more.
I would like to thank you and to commend you for your wholehearted activity. When we discovered my mother had ALS we felt like our world had collapsed, and thanks to you, we have been able to pick ourselves up and you really gave us the strength we needed to keep going, not to give up, and the will to investigate and learn of more ways to make things easier for Mom and for us. And thank you especially for not leaving us alone.
Before the foundation of the Association there were no ALS researchers in the Israeli academic sphere. Thanks to the Association and its activities, this field is now rich with activity.

בכל מקום שתבחרו, בארץ ובעולם!
מה אורכו של מסלול המרוץ?
כל מסלול שתבחרו – בהליכה, ריצה, אופניים, גלגיליות או כל מה שבא לכם, במשך 30 דקות – נתכנס חזרה ב- 18:30.
איך זה יעבוד?
כל משתתף שנרשם יקבל חולצה והפתעה.
1,000 הנרשמים הראשונים יקבלו קישור לשידור החי ויוכלו לקחת בו חלק אינטראקטיבי, לצלם ולהסריט את עצמם רצים (או כל פעילות אחרת שיבחרו), להתראיין, להשתתף בשעשועונים ועוד.
משתתפים שלא יקחו חלק בשידור יוכלו לצפות בו בקישור ייעודי ברשתות החברתיות, לשלוח תמונות וסרטונים ותגובות שיוצגו במהלך השידור.
האירוע כולו יועבר מאולפן מיוחד בשידור חי שיכלול ראיונות, הופעות, שעשועונים ועוד הרבה הפתעות. אלפי משתתפים ירוצו תוך שהטלפונים הסלולאריים שלהם משמשים כנקודות שידור בשטח.

בוודאי! ילדים בכל הגילאים מוזמנים להשתתף במרוץ ולקחת חלק בשידור החי בו יהיו פעילויות והופעות מתאימות במיוחד בשבילם.
האם חברים ובני משפחה הגרים בחו”ל יוכלו להשתתף?
בשמחה רבה!! המרוץ פתוח לנרשמים ברחבי העולם כולו.
נרשמתי למרוץ – מה אקבל?
כל נרשם יקבל ערכה ובה חולצה, צמיד מנגב זיעה והפתעות נוספות.
אופן חלוקת הערכות יפורסם בהמשך.
לצערי לא אוכל להשתתף במרוץ- איך אוכל לתרום?
בדף הבית של אתר ההרשמה יש כפתור “להרשמה ותרומה” – בטופס, בחר את האפשרות “אני מעוניין לתרום ללא הרשמה” והזן סכום לבחירתך בשדה “סכום חופשי”.
גם מי שלא משתתף יכול להקים דף התרמה אישי או להצטרף לדף התרמה קיים, ולבקש מהמעגל החברתי שלו לתרום למטרה כה חשובה ולהגדיל את השפעתו ותרומתו

How long is the run?
How will this work?
The first 1,000 participants to register will get a link to the live broadcast and will be offered the opportunity to interact with the stream, to take video clips of themselves running (or any other activity they choose), to be interviewed, to participate in games, and more.
Participants who do not take part in the live broadcast will be able to watch it through a designated link on social media, and to send pictures, videos, and comments which will be displayed during the broadcast.
The entire event will be broadcast live from a special studio and will include interviews, shows, games, and many more surprises. Thousands of participants will run, with their cellphones serving as broadcasting stations on the ground.

Will there be an option to donate during the live broadcast?

Any donation and / or registration made through your personal fundraising page will enter your fundraising amount and help you reach the goal you set for yourself.
What happens if I reach my goal and want to keep going?
If you have reached the destination and want to increase it, we will be happy to help you revise your fundraising goal.
Are donations tax-deductible?
The IsrALS Association is a Registered Association with a Proper Management Certificate and Public Institution authorization for the purpose of donation (article 46).
