Hi, my name is Gabi Arma, I am 58 years old, father of four and grandfather to a granddaughter.

Until July 2021 I lived a normal life. In my youth I was a fighter in the Golani Infantry Brigade, and participated in the Peace for Galilee War.

I started a family with my beloved wife Limor and we have four children whom we raised comfortably.

In the summer of 2021 my life changed in an instant.
I was diagnosed with an aggressive glioblastoma brain cancer.

I underwent a complex surgery to remove the tumor, which was followed with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and biological treatments.

About a month ago we’ve come to realize that all known medical procedures did not help. The tumor continues to develop in another area in the right lobe of the brain at a swift pace. I’m not giving up on life. I still have a lot to accomplish. I have a wonderful family that supports me through thick and thin every step of the long and harsh way. Each day I’m here is like a miracle.

While all previous treatments failed to cure the tumor, there is however an experimental treatment in the US where vaccines are being prepared from the brain tissue taken during the surgery I underwent.

The treatment requires coming to the clinic and staying there for the entire duration of the treatment. During the last year, my family took the heavy financial burden and helped me survive. I never thought I would do this, I was always on the giving side, and now… I have no choice but to be on the asking side.

The estimated cost of the treatments is more than 200,000 USD. I decided to put my pride aside and fight for life.
